To facilitate more advanced geotagging of results, the sub-national geographic level has been incorporated using the ISO 3166 standard dataset.
Key information about this development:
- A new geographic focus option, 'Sub-national', has been added for the reporting of results and the creation of Innovation Packages.
- Multiple sub-national levels can be chosen for each country.
- It is important to note that the ISO 3166 standard includes only one level of sub-national regions.
- For the '4. Geographic Location' section to display a green checkmark when using the sub-national level, at least one country and one sub-national level per country must be selected. In cases where a chosen country does not have any subdivisions, the requirement for selecting at least one sub-national tag can be bypassed.
- The same behavior and flow for the sub-national geographic focus are implemented in both the Results module and the IPSR module.
