In preparation for IPSR reporting, it is important to implement the same versioning feature in the IPSR module that is available for the Results module. The implementation of the same versioning system across modules will ensure consistent operation of the PRMS Reporting Tool.

We're rolling out the IPSR module versioning system in stages. Phase 1, which we've started, allows for the creation of IPSR phases, connects them to the respective TOC phase, and introduces other essential functions.

Next year (2024), Phase 2 of IPSR module versioning will include:

• Updating/replication of Innovation Packages.
• Access to Innovation Packages information per phase.
• A “read-only” mode for Innovation Packages from closed phases.

Below are details on what has been developed in Phase 1:

Management of phases

In the admin area, there is a “Phase management” subsection where users can create, edit, or delete IPSR module phases. However, note that:

• Only one phase creation is possible per year.
• Only one phase can be “Open” at a time.
• A phase can only be deleted if it has no reported results.
• Every phase needs connections to a TOC phase and a Results module phase.
